Doctor Christy Jew is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist who practices family eye care in the Magnolia area. When you make an appointment at her office, you will enjoy an environment that allows you to feel comfortable and confident that you are entrusting your eye care in a doctor who is committed to providing her patients with the most professional comprehensive eye care available today.
A native Texan, Dr. Jew graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics in 2003 and 2005. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. While in optometry school, Dr. Jew served as a teaching assistant and received several letters of excellence for her clinical performance. She completed her externships in the greater Houston area, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Meet Your Magnolia, TX Eye Care Team:
Sydney was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and raised in Katy, Texas. In the past four years she’s taken classes to be a pharmacy technician, worked as a manager at Starbucks and even applied makeup at Sephora. She has been with Texas State Optical since September of 2018. Sydney’s interest in Optometry began when her brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was caught by taking a photo of the back of the eye. Her passions have always been focused on helping others and now she takes great pride in educating others about how important our eyes really are. When she’s not at work you can find her binge watching shows on Netflix and spending time with family on Lake Conroe.
Kaitlyn was born in Conroe, TX., Raised in Atascocita, TX. She is the oldest of three girls. For the past four years Kaitlyn has worked in the fitness industry, but later found she has a passion for helping people with their eye care needs. Kaitlyn believes that being a part of the process that betters someone’s ability to see is a feeling like no other. When not working at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and making memories, going to the gym, and going to the movie theaters!
Hannah was born and raised in Magnolia TX. She graduated from Magnolia High School with her CNA certification and jumped right into the work force. Over the past few years Hannah has worked in multiple nursing facilities as well as optical offices. A passion for helping others has been the driving factor in her career choice and educational endeavors giving her a solid foundation in the healthcare profession. When she’s not working you can find Hannah outside enjoying nature, taking her dogs to the park, or curled up watching a good horror flick!
