Dr. Manzil Quadir grew up in Sugar Land, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Anthropology. She continued her education and received her doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude with multiple awards for leadership, clinical care, and community service. She served as the national student liaison to the World Council of Optometry and she received several honors including memberships in Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Quadir enjoys serving patients of all ages by providing comprehensive optometric care through correcting refractive errors and treating and managing various ocular diseases. With a strong passion for fitting specialty contact lenses, Dr. Quadir is certified to fit orthokeratology specialty contact lenses and the new FDA-approved MiSight myopia management soft contact lens. She leads the Myopia Management Program at our office, which offers a variety of solutions to slow down the progression of myopia (near-sightedness) in children and young adults. She has had extensive training in fitting soft, multifocal, rigid gas permeable, scleral, orthokeratology, and hybrid lenses.
Dr. Quadir is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
She currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband and her four fur babies. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and fostering animals from local shelters.
